Anticipation is brewing once again as the finalists for the 11th annual Scottish Beer Awards are revealed, celebrating the breweries, beers and people helping to shape Scotland’s vibrant brewing industry.
Following this year’s judging process, the shortlist brings together an exciting mix of breweries and beers from across Scotland, recognising excellence, innovation and quality throughout the sector.
The Scottish Beer Awards provides an independent platform to celebrate the achievements of Scotland’s brewing industry, recognising everything from exceptional beers to the businesses and people behind them.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 6 October 2026 at DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Central, with the 11th Scottish Beer Awards presented during this year’s Beer Matters Conference.
Beer Matters brings Scotland’s brewing industry together for a full day of insight, discussion, networking and celebration, exploring the issues and opportunities that will shape the future of beer.
The programme gets underway with a keynote from Northern Monk founder Russell Bisset, before examining the next generation of beer drinkers, the trends set to influence the industry in 2027 and how breweries can distinguish genuine opportunities from passing fads.
The afternoon turns its attention to the future of brewing in Scotland, the continued growth of low and no alcohol, and the role of taprooms and community hubs in creating new experiences around beer.
There will also be opportunities throughout the day to network, meet exhibitors and hear directly from experts from across brewing, hospitality, research, data, finance, branding and innovation.
