The Scottish Beer Awards are Scotland’s national awards programme dedicated to recognising and rewarding excellence in brewing.

Founded in 2016, the awards celebrate the breweries, beers, people and businesses helping to shape Scotland’s vibrant brewing industry.

In 2026, the Scottish Beer Awards form part of the Beer Matters Conference, bringing the industry together for one day of insight, connection and celebration.

Beer Matters is about bringing Scotland’s brewing industry together.

Throughout the day, delegates will hear from industry experts, explore the trends and challenges affecting the sector, meet suppliers and fellow brewers, and make valuable new connections.

The Scottish Beer Awards add another important element to the programme – the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work taking place across Scotland’s brewing industry.

From established breweries and exciting emerging businesses to exceptional beers and industry innovation, the awards showcase the breadth of talent within the sector.

The Scottish Beer Awards recognise achievement across both business and taste categories, celebrating the people behind Scotland’s breweries as well as the beers they produce.

The awards are independently judged by an experienced panel drawn from across the brewing, hospitality and drinks industries.
